Braised Bone In Beef Short Ribs

INGREDIENTS

4 LBS BONE IN RAIKES SHORT RIBS

1/2 TSP SALT

1/2 TSP PEPPER

3 TBSP OLIVE OIL

1/2 WHITE ONION, DICED

2-3 CLOVES GARLIC, CRUSHED

1 CUP BEEF BROTH

1/4 CUP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE

1 SPRIG FRESH ROSEMARY

CHOPPED PARSLEY, FOR GARNISH

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a dutch oven, brown ribs on all sides in olive oil over high heat.

Remove from heat, set aside.

Add onion, saute’ 2-3 minutes.

Pour in broth and worcestershire.

Bring to a simmer, add meat .

Cover and transfer to oven for 2.5 hours or until ribs are tender.

Serve over mashed potatoes, polenta or risotto.

Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
