Brazillian Braised Beef

Brazillian Braised Beef

Tender braised beef with vibrant flavor.

INGREDIENTS

  • RAIKES BEEF TOP ROUND ROAST (OR FAVORITE ROAST)
  • SALT & PEPPER
  • 2 TBSP SMOKING GUN BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE SEASONING
  • 3 GARLIC CLOVES (MINCED)
  • 14 OZ CAN DICED TOMATOES
  • 1 BAY LEAF
  • 1 1/2 CUPS BEEF BROTH

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Season the roast liberally with salt, pepper, and Smoking Gun seasoning. We recommend letting it sit overnight or at least 3-4 hours for the seasoning to marinate into the meat.

Brown the roast in a skillet on all sides. Then place in a slow cooker and add the broth, garlic, tomatoes, and bay leaf. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.

Remove the roast and shred with two forks until completely torn apart. Return meat to the slow cooker to absorb the juices. Serve with sauteed tri colored peppers and onions in tortillas shells or with rice. Top with avocado, fresh salsa, and Cotija cheese. Enjoy!

This is a great recipe. I’m making it today with tri-tip. You might want to add tomatoes to the ingredients list. The instructions say to add them to the crock pot, but I wasn’t sure how much, so just put in some that I had.
