Oven Roasted Brisket


An easy to make but extremely delicious brisket served over a bun, roll, or mashed potatoes. 

Ingredients

  • 3-4 LB RAIKES BEEF BRISKET
  • 3 TBSP OLIVE OIL
  • 6 OZ CAN COLA
  • 1 CUP PINEAPPLE JUICE
  • 1-2 CLOVES GARLIC (minced)
  • 2 TBSP FUEGO SEASONING (listed below)

Fuego Seasoning

  • 1 TBSP cumin
  • 1/4 cup paprika
  • 2 TSP cayenne
  • 2 TBSP salt
  • 3 TBSP pepper
  • 2 TBSP granulated garlic
  • 2 TBSP chili powder
  • 2 TBSP oregano

Instructions

Rub brisket with Fuego Seasoning and salt & pepper, then let it sit overnight for best flavor.

Heat olive oil in skillet and brown on all sides. Move to a large Dutch Oven or roasting pan. Add minced garlic, pour cola and pineapple juice over top.

Roast in oven at 300° for four hours. Shred the beef with fork and serve on bun, roll, or even over mashed potatoes.

Leftovers make great brisket tacos.
