Bourbon Glazed Flank Steak

Bourbon Glazed Flank Steak

Tender flank steak with a sweet Bourbon glaze. Yum!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 RAIKES BEEF FLANK STEAK
  • 1/4 CUP BOURBON
  • 1/4 CUP SOY SAUCE
  • 1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR
  • PINCH RED PEPPER FLAKES
  • 1/4 TSP BLACK PEPPER
  • 1 TSP CORNSTARCH

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Place flank steak in 9x13 baking dish.

Mix all ingredients except cornstarch in small bowl. Then pour over steak, pressing mixture into both sides of steak. Marinate for one hour.

Remove steak and pat dry (save the marinade).

Heat grill and cook steak 4-5 minutes per side (until it reaches 135 degrees).

Remove from heat and let rest 10 minutes while you prepare sauce.

Pour marinade into small saucepan. Add cornstarch and whisk until smooth.

Cook over low heat until mixture reduces and is slightly thickened.

Cut steak on the bias into thin strips.

Serve with sauce, roasted sweet potato, and veggies.

Good catch! It should be 1/4 tsp black and 1 tsp of cornstarch.

    The recipe calls for
    1/4 TSP BLACK PEPPER
    1 TSP BLACK PEPPER

Is this supposed to be 1/4 tsp pepper and 1 tsp salt?
