Perhaps nothing is more American than spending time in the backyard and grilling burgers. Every once in awhile you might want to kick things up a notch to impress your family and friends. We have got you covered with this recipe for Cowboy Ketchup from our very own Fayne Petersen. Cowboy ketchup is a great addition to take your burgers, brats, or hot dogs to the next level!
Ingredients
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons chipotle sauce (or to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Mix all ingredients together. Great addition to burgers, bratwursts, or hot dogs.
My father -in-laws recently celebrated his 95th birthday. He is well traveled domestically and abroad. Somewhere he encountered some Cowboy Ketchup and he remembers liking it. At age 95 he only seems to remember the important stuff.
