Braised Bone-In Beef Short Ribs


Fall off the bone tender ribs with beefy flavor.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 LBS BONE IN RAIKES SHORT RIBS
  • 1/2 TSP SALT
  • 1/2 TSP PEPPER
  • 3 TBSP OLIVE OIL
  • 1/2 WHITE ONION, DICED
  • 2-3 CLOVES GARLIC, CRUSHED
  • 1 CUP BEEF BROTH
  • 1/4 CUP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
  • 1 SPRIG FRESH ROSEMARY
  • CHOPPED PARSLEY, FOR GARNISH

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a dutch oven, brown ribs on all sides in olive oil over high heat.
  3. Remove from heat, set aside.
  4. Add onion, saute’ 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in broth and Worcestershire.
  6. Bring to a simmer, add meat .
  7. Cover and transfer to oven for 2.5 hours or until ribs are tender.
  8. Serve over mashed potatoes, polenta or risotto.
  9. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
